Fuji x100 Infrared testA little while ago I ordered the IR720 Infrared Filter for my Fuji x100. Well, it just arrived yesterday, so I immediately ran to my balcony to test it out. I didn’t have any of the focusing issues I’ve heard about, and the camera auto focus seemed to work pretty well, but I want to keep testing that out a bit. Conclusion: So far so good. I’ll keep you posted as I know more. Tokyo Dancer Nanami ChinatsuI recently had the chance to shoot the amazing dancer Nanami Chinatsu. The sakura were blooming around NakaMeguro, Tokyo as we took these photos. At one point the crowd watching us was larger than those enjoying the sakura. It was a beautiful day, and these are some of the photos.
Miss Universe Japan 2013 – TokyoJust had a good time shooting for Miss Universe Japan last night. There were even some people there that were able to convince me to hop into a shot or two.

It was organised by TokyoDex and held at SuperDeluxe in Roppongi. There were a lot of musicians that I was really happy to get to hear. The first was Ken Shima and Samm Bennett of Medicine Bone.
I was really happy to meet N’Toko, who had come in from Slovenia. Amazing MC. And awesome shirt.
I also was very impressed with Kaoru Watanabe.

There were a lot of interesting people there, including Said Karlsson who was showing of his new iOS game Rhythm Control 2.

Jean Snow, in his continuing efforts with the Pecha Kucha Mix asked for photos from me again. I think the Mix went very well, and Pecha Kucha is always a good event. A surprise for me last night was getting to see one of the Jumping series in it’s final state. I have been working on these with PKN for a while, but this is the first finished one I have gotten to see. I think it looks good!
